The much awaited WordPress app for iPhone and iPod Touch is now available for download through the iTunes app store. As we discussed already, WordPress app for iPhone will be free and open-source and will be compatible with blogs on WordPress.com as well as self-hosted WordPress blogs.
WordPress has finally released the official native app for iPhone and iPod Touch. The native WordPress app is probably the first and only open-source app in the iTunes App Store and works perfectly on all WordPress.com blogs and self-hosted WordPress blogs (running version 2.5.1 or newer).
Good news for the Jailbroken iPhone users is that now they will be able to choose, purchase and download apps from an App Store other than the official iTunes App Store.
