Sprint are already doing a great job when it comes to marketing the new Palm Pre, but they will have to work even harder on its advertising campaign now. The reason for this is because within seven months, Verizon Wireless will be allowed to carry the Palm Pre, makes you wonder when Verizon will get its shot with the iPhone 3G S.
According to The Wall Street Journal, it is not certain how long Sprint has an exclusive deal with Palm and its Pre Smartphone device. This has caused even more confusion since Lowell McAdam; Verizon Wireless CEO said that over the next six months they would get the new Palm Pre device.
Just recently, Sprint had announced that they had an exclusive deal with Palm to offer the Pre until the end of 2009, and as you would assume, they are working hard in trying to extend on this deal. You can understand why Sprint will be desperate to hold on to the Pre as an exclusive, because when the handset was launched last Saturday, 6 June, it broke all records for the network carrier.
Palm would be stupid not to allow the Pre to sell with Verizon this could help triple sales. We also hope that Apple comes to its senses soon, and start to offer the iPhone 3G S on Verizon.
