If you were put off with OS 5.0.0.100 for the RIM BlackBerry Bold or Curve 8900, then you should now give it another try. You can now forget about all the troubles that version 5.0.0.93 gave you, and hope that you have greater success with 5.0.0.100.
If you are thinking about now installing this new update, then you should remember that it could stop some of your existing apps from working properly, but CrackBerry does inform us that BlackBerry JDE 5.0 has now been made available to developers, so hopefully these apps should start to work on OS 5.0.0.100 soon.
CrackBerry would like to point out that this update for your BlackBerry Bold and Curve 8900 is not an official release from RIM. Please beware that you install this firmware upgrade at your own risk, if you are not happy with doing this, then you should wait for RIM to offer its official updates for these handsets.
Bored with how your BlackBerry Bold looks, there is a cool new Palm Pre theme for your RIM handset.
