New White 16GB iPhone 3G S: Forget the upgrade in 2009

When it came to upgrading the first-generation iPhone to a new 3G version in 2008, it was an easy choice thanks to the great deals offered, but the new iPhone in 2009 does not offer the same deal.

This makes it much harder for users to upgrade to the new iPhone 3G S version. With the iPhone OS 3.0 software packing so much, and the Nokia N97 and N86 out in the same week, it’s a hard choice.

AT&T in the US may give a slightly better deal than O2 in the UK, but it’s still no good O2 defending the new iPhone 3GS deal, it’s an easier upgrade that many are after with no fees.

If you will stay with the same network and enter a new contract, why should you pay a fee to end a contract only to start another one with the same network?

The fact is the deal has been set with AT&T and O2, and those that want the new iPhone in 2009 will find a way to get it.

After we looked at the new 3D graphics power of the iPhone 3G S, and the comparison to the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, you know you got to have the new device.
