1 IPhone Oktoberfest game: Coming Soon

According to a report on IntoMobile a new application should soon be available at the App Store, this application should suit you beer drinking iPhone users (there should be a few of you out there). The application is the official Oktoberfest iPhone app and apparently it will allow you to play quite a few pub sports games.

Just like the real Oktoberfest the application will be multi-cultural, the Oktoberfest game is said to be available in a large range of languages including English, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and of course German.
The application will allow you to experience some of real events that occur in the real Oktoberfest, these include finger wrestling, high-striker, conducting the ‘oompah band’ and riding the ghost train.

2 Chillingo iPhone games updated

According to an article on IntoMobile it seems that Chillingo have updated two of its games, these games are Toki Tori and Minogore, as I do not have an iPhone and do not own these games I am not 100 percent sure whether these updates are free and automatic.

The update to Toki Tori is quite substantial, some of the new additions include, bonus level support, play your own music, added button to focus camera, a new random level feature and four new bonus levels. There are more additions which can be seen on IntoMobile.
Minigore’s update is not yet finished, but should be finished very soon, the update includes new characters and new levels. The new characters are Lizzy and Enviro-bear, these characters have been seen in other Chillingo titles.
As said at the beginning of this article I am not sure whether these updates are free, nor am I sure whether they update automatically. If you have these games on your iPhone please let us know below in the comments section.

3 Iphone game Pools of Blood Features Karnivool

A new tower defence type game is now available for iPhone at the App Store, the game is developed by ‘Staring Man’, and they teamed up with the Australian metal band Karnivool to create the game ‘Pools of Blood’.

The game features Karnivool’s hit single “Set Fire to the Hive” and this is the background music whilst playing the game. The idea of the game is to defend your tower from a range of different goblins and orcs, by squashing them on their path to your tower, to squash the enemy simply touch the screen where the enemy are, this then leaves a ‘Pool of Blood’ where the goblin was.
