Apple iPhone 3.1 Update: Will it solve battery problems?

With the upcoming Apple media event just hours away, many users will be glued to their computer screens expecting to hear news on one particular feature. We are not talking about the new iPods or new Tablets, but rather the next iPhone 3.1 OS update.

As reported from RedmondPie, the feature that most of you will be hoping to hear, is improved battery life for the iPhone and iPhone 3GS within the next update.
We are pretty sure you wont need us to list the reasons why more battery life is badly needed for the iPhone, although the problems are not just down to Apple. More like, all the countless amounts of software and media features that are available for the device.
Lets not forget that the iPhone’s primary function is a phone, and the battery life would probably fine if just used for that, but with all the features available on the iPhone today, it’s no wonder that battery life is so poor.
