Nice.in this post I will tell to you how to make your blog look professional. Lets look at a few things which will help you make your blog more professional and create a brand.

1. Look and feel of the site is very important
Look of the site makes the first impression on the readers and visitors. Keep it nice, simple and clean. Make sure you install a theme with the right color combination and not something which hurts the eye.

Don’t have ads all over the page; let your readers read the content without any distraction. Making money should always be a part of writing great content and not the other way round.

2. Google Apps (customized email addresses)
Google Apps offers several products such as e-mail, calendar, messenger (GTalk), Google docs, etc. under your own domain name. So you can have e-mail address at your domain name (e.g. nerds@tnerd.com) for absolutely free. These e-mails accounts are not any different from the regular gmail accounts.

Having a personalized e-mail address adds that touch of exclusivity to your domain. Go for it! Click here to register with Google Apps.

3. Customized email for registered users
When users register with the site, an automated email is sent to the user confirming the registration at the site. The New User email setupwordpress plugin lets you edit the “from” email address, Subject and the body of the e-mail. This ads a personal touch to it. Exclusive again!

4. About and Contact page
Have a proper “About” page – write about the site, yourself, the team, etc… Having a good About page lets you connect with your users and blogging is all about creating relationships. It also shows how serious you are about the site/blog you are running.

Instead of mentioning mailto links, have a contact page where users can fill a form and submit to send an e-mail. Doesn’t it sound nice and easy.Cforms wordpress plugin lets you create forms and add to you blog.

5. Feedburner URL
Feedburner is a great service and everyone running a blog should certainly make use of it. It offers a feature called “MyBrand” which lets you have the feed at your own domain name, so instead of http://feeds2.feedburner.com/JustBeBetter.

6. Comment Relish
Thank the first time commenter’s on your site by sending them an instant personalized e-mail. This not only helps you keep the visitors coming back, but leaves a good impression on the reader. Remember it’s a thank you e-mail so don’t put the visitor off by writing much – just a thank you and subscribe to our feed should be enough. Get the Comment Relishwordpress plugin.

7. Custom Login Page
Having your own login page wouldn’t hurt. Don’t get me wrong, I love wordpress and give full credit to it on my blog, but I want to have my own login screen too. BM Custom Login wordpress plugin will let you customize the login screen and have your own theme on running on it. It is the best in the town which lets you customize the screen.

Oke friends,,In this posts I will share to you how about configure microsoft outlook 2003 or later. oke,,just follow this steps to configure.

Open Microsoft Outlook and lets configure. after open microsoft outlook, chose tools – e-mail Accounts.look picture bellow

On the Outlook popup window, select to “Add a new e-mail account” and click on Next.

On the server type step, select POP3 for the Outlook email account type, then click on Next. There is no need to select the IMAP type, because the Gmail web based account will anyway keep a copy of all emails, just like an IMAP account would do.

On the next screen, you will have to specify your Outlook Gmail settings, such as your Gmail username and password, Gmail server addresses, Gmail server ports and Outlook Gmail display name.

On the User Information section, enter your Name (it can be anything, but remember this is going to be the name/text that people will see when you will send them an email via your Outlook Gmail account) and your Gmail email address.

On the Server Information section, enter the Google Gmail servers:
- Incoming mail server: pop.gmail.com
- Outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com. As an alternative, you may setup any other outgoing mail server that you have access to, such as your ISP’s SMTP server or your own hosted outgoing server. However, if you setup a 3rd party outgoing mail server, you will not have access to sent emails via your web based Gmail account panel.

On the Logon Information section, enter your Gmail User Name (which is the same as your Gmail email address) and your Gmail password. Tick the box “Remember password” in order to make Outlook to store the Gmail password, so it will not ask you about it every time when Outlook will send/receive emails for the Gmail account.

Click on the “More Settings” button and go to the “Advanced” window tab.
- On the “Incoming server (POP3)” field, enter 995 and mark the box “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)”;
- On the “Outgoing server (SMTP)” field, enter 465 and mark the box “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)”.
You can also change the server timeouts period: this defines the time interval for which Outlook will wait to establish a Gmail connection, before triggering a connection error. The slower your Internet connection is, the greater period you should put.
The “Delivery” options are not important for an Outlook Gmail account: no matter what you would change here, Gmail will always keep a copy of each email on the Gmail server.

When you are done setting up your Outlook Gmail advanced settings, click on OK to return to the Outlook Gmail account window

To verify your Outlook Gmail setup, click on the “Test Account Settings” button: this will make Outlook to attempt to login to your Gmail account and to send & receive an Outlook test email. If the test will succeed, you will notice the test email in your Outlook Inbox folder. If the test fails, Outlook will prompt you with the error messages – most likely, you didn’t setup the correct server settings or the Gmail password is wrong.

NB: To setting it, configure google mail account first. just select on Settings – POP/IMAP – activate POP fo all email

Improving the navigation in your blog means visitors will find MORE of your content, and return MORE often. Even with the best content and lots of traffic – the most important thing is that people can QUICKLY find what they were looking for from the first moment they enter your blog!

I’m going to give you 10 different ways you can improve the navigation in your blog that anyone can (and should) implement for better usability when you have a WordPress powered blog. You will be surprised how much easier it will be to find content by using these techniques.

10 Steps to Improved WordPress Navigation

Add Breadcrumbs: This is a very easy fix, and one I don’t see on many blogs. Breadcrumbs are the simple link trail on the top of a web page like this: “Home -> Page -> SubPage”. It’s easy to add breadcrumbs, just use a 2.6+ compatible plugin like “Breadcrumb NavXT.

Get rid of Ugly Next and Previous Links: Every WordPress homepage, and any page that has lists of blog posts (search, archive), has simple “next” and “previous” links to navigate older posts. I have witnessed (countless times) visitors thinking that all the posts you had to offer were listed on the homepage and that was it (mainly people not familiar with WordPress). You should have a linked list of pages (like google) that says “this is page 1 of…” and links to “2, 3, 4, 5, etc”. It’s easy to fix this with plugins like WP-PageNavi or WP-Page Numbers.

Bold Pagination on Single Pages: You can’t use the last trick on single pages, but every single (post) page has links at the bottom to view the next and previous page as well. I edit my “single.php” file to change that text to something like “Post before this one” and “Post after this one”, and align them left and right (bolded). You can style them any way you want – the point is to make them stand out. Visitors often come from SERP’s to a single post page, make it easy for them to view other ones as well.

More Links and Excerpts: This is personal preference really, but I prefer to have post excerpts on pages instead of the entire post, because I feel it clutters up pages and makes everything run together (on most blogs). I like to encourage people to visit the single post page to read the entire thing. There are a couple ways to change a running post page (like search results, archives, index.php) to show excerpts. On your homepage, you can use the Homepage excerpts plugin to achieve this. On all other pages, just the “the loop” and change the_content to the_excerpt.

Multi-Paged Navigation: If you ramble on like I do, some of your posts can be dreadfully long. Break them up into multi-pages posts using a plugin like Multi-Page Toolkit. It’s not only better usability, but it creates multiple post pages so you can get more indexed in the search engines.

Related Posts: What better way to get people to stay on your blog than by recommending to them “related posts” that you’ve written?! All it takes is a plugin likeRelated Posts.

Most Viewed Posts: Like an MVP of the game – you should be showing your visitors your most valuable content! Lester Chan has a great plugin called WP Post Views that has a sidebar widget than can display your most viewed posts! This is a great way to showcase your best posts and keep people on your blog.

Most Popular Posts: Alex King has a plugin called Popularity Contest that displays how popular posts are.

Category Images: Having your categories a post is assigned to listed and linked is a great way to get visitors to view everything else you have posted in that category, but sometimes (like “ad blindness) readers are blinded to post meta info. Solve that by assigning images to your categories, so that they stand out prominently! All you need is the Category Icons plugin.

Sidebar Navigation: There are a bazillion options for pimping out your sidebar, and most bloggers seem to just liste categories, archives, and a blogroll. Check out all of the WordPress Widgets available, the WordPress Codex page for “Customizing Your Sidebar”, the List Authors widget, Parent Pages widget, and especially the WordPress plugin iFrameWidgets. The iframe widgets one is great if you use myBlogLog, BlogCatalog, Entrecard, or other third party widgets that may slow the load time of your blog.

By following these 10 steps to better navigation, your visitors will STAY LONGER and READ MORE each and every time they visit your blog. This article was a synopsis of my in depth article WordPress Hack #5: 10 Ways to Improve Navigation. The new site is called WordPress TV. It takes different information for WordPress, such as tweaks, hacks, etc and presents them as videos for all to see. It seems their take on it is to check out there site for visual presentations of information, instead of traveling all kinds of different sites for that information. It is kind of like mini training videos. Well, sort of.

I still have more of the site to checkout, but so far it looks interesting to me. Give it a shot and see what you think of the new site. It may become one of your resources to add to your toolbox.

Check out WordPress TV at: http://www.wordpress.tv

How to Integrate wordpress into facebook
Blogs are have developed and very useful then before and can easy to do anything with blogs. Social network sites like Facebook provide a more structured way to keep up with specific people. Wouldn’t it be great if you could mix the two?

With the new WordPress.com Facebook App you can do exactly that.In this app you’ll find the core blog features you’d expect: publishing posts, adding bookmarks and viewing stats. Beyond that we’ve taken advantage of the social network information that Facebook provides, with a Friends feature that shows you the most recent WordPress.com blog post from each of your Facebook friends that have added the app. Posts you make within the app show up on your WordPress blog here, and vice versa.Your friends can stay up to date with your recent posts and comments from your blog when you add it your Facebook profile. Doing that will show excerpts from the last five posts and five comments of your blog. These are updated each time a new post or comment is published to your blog.

Last, but certainly not least, posts to your blog will be added to your news and mini-feeds with direct links to your new post and blog. Those may also be shared with your friends depending on privacy settings that you grant the application. This has the potential to drive a ton of traffic to your blog posts from the people you care about most.

Add the WordPress.com Facebook App, share it with your friends, and let us know what you think. We’re new to this, so we’ll be pushing a revision based on your feedback within a week or two.
